Garlic Shallot Orzo
Creamy orzo cooked to perfection, infused with garlic and shallot, then combined with your choice of fresh asparagus or green beans and finished with a sprinkle of freshly grated Parmesan. This elegant dish celebrates the vibrant flavors of spring. Our chef recommends shrimp, but you can customize your meal with your choice of protein.




🥗 Ingredients:
Protein (Choose One):
✅ 2 lbs shrimp, peeled & deveined
✅ 1½ lbs chicken breast, pounded thin in a sealed bag
✅ 1½ lbs salmon, cut into 6 oz fillets
✅ 2 blocks (28 oz) extra firm tofu, pressed, cubed & coated in cornstarch
Base & Vegetables:
✅ 2 cups orzo pasta (or 2½ cups riced cauliflower, low-carb option)
✅ 8 cups chicken or vegetable broth (32 oz reserved for client reheat)
✅ ¾ cup butter (6 oz)
✅ ½ cup shallot, minced (4 oz)
✅ ½ cup fresh garlic, minced (4 oz)
✅ 1 lb asparagus or green beans, trimmed & cut into 1-inch pieces (16 oz)
✅ 2 cups freshly grated Parmesan cheese (8 oz)
Seasonings:
✅ 1 tsp salt
✅ ½ tsp butcher cut black pepper (1 g)
